Founded in 1997, MEDIA Central is a specialized service provider for dialogue, direct, and retail marketing. Today, the company employs approximately 200 people and maintains operations across more than 20 countries.

As an independent partner, MEDIA Central distributes advertising messages across all modern media channels. As the German market leader, the company manages the distribution of more than nine billion advertising flyers, image brochures, and shopping coupons to private households annually.

Bregal acquired a majority stake in MEDIA Central in May 2019. In December 2020, the initial acquisition financing was substantially increased under the leadership of AkquiVest, in cooperation with a local Sparkasse.
